Wing VNA, formerly the Quaboag Valley VNA, provides home health care
services for individuals requiring skilled nursing care and/or
rehabilitation therapy services in a home setting. Working with the
patient's physician, VNA staff collaborates with the patient and family
in establishing a plan of care and treatment goals. Services may
include:
- Registered nursing care (e.g., health assessments and symptom management)
- Physical/occupational therapy
- Speech therapy
- Medical social work (e.g., client and family counseling and financial planning)
- Home health aide (e.g., bathing/personal care, feeding/meal preparation, walking)
Staff from our Hospice Program is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Community Health Programs and Services
In addition to home care of patients, the Wing VNA also provides a number of programs and services for the community:
- Flu immunizations
- Tuberculosis testing
- Blood pressure screening and blood glucose clinics
- Participation in community health fairs
- Presentations to community groups on health related areas of interest
Supporting Home Health
As a
not-for-profit home care provider, Wing VNA and Hospice welcomes
contributions to support home care to patients and for community
outreach activities.
Donations are tax-deductible and may be contributed in memory of a
loved one or directed toward support of a specific activity or service.
