MD Access is a program of UMass Memorial Medical Center
designed to provide referring physicians with easy, one-call access for:
- Inpatient transfers
- Expedited scheduling of patient appointments and testing
The MD Access toll-free number
(888-334-4111) is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by
trained access coordinators. With one call, MD Access connects
referring physicians directly to a UMass Memorial attending physician,
coordinates bed access and expedites scheduling of patient appointments and
testing.
