HealthAlliance Hospital is a great place to have a baby. The maternity service features personalized care to enhance the birth experience, including lactation support, classes and homelike surroundings. Expert physicians, anesthesiologists, nurses and support staff provide high-quality, family-centered care.
We offer many obstetrical care providers including obstetricians, family medicine doctors and midwives. All expectant families can participate in the many education opportunities at the hospital.
As a family-focused Birthing Center, we encourage family and friends who support the labor process to attend labor. Our seven labor/delivery/recovery beds allow patients to stay in one location for labor and delivery. HealthAlliance Hospital also offers various methods of pain control, including supporting nonmedicated birth, narcotic pain control, epidurals and intrathecal anesthesia, all which are available 24 hours a day.
If required, a surgical birth occurs in our Cesarean section surgical suite on the Birthing Center unit, supported by our Birthing Center staff. Recovery from the birth is also provided in the Birthing Center to decrease mother/baby separation.
Our 19-bed postpartum unit each patient usually has a private room. Family and friends can visit during our liberal visiting hours.
